    LED is just the backlight its still crap LCD motion still sucks on an lcd and even with LED backlighting you still have uneven uniformaty over the screen light patches eveywhere, at the moment plasma is waybetter than LCD and always will only OLED or SED or even LASER tv will be better than plasma.

    People, don’t say Plasmas are better than LCDs, not mentioning LEDs, cause LED is better than plasma… OLED HDTV just incomparable… so, what I was saying is that plasmas at higher altitudes start to make some disturbing noise, have LESS lifetime than LCD’s, suffers from some of the drawbacks of traditional televisions such as heat generation and screen-burn of static images, weights more (when compairing same screen sizes and consumes literally twice as much electric power.

    @PensieroCritico
    yes, i agree i have also 1000 € lg 50 inch plasma and i have much better picture then some “better” tv.. h a ha

    but what im saying is as soon as a plasma burns out you cant just replace the bulb you have to buy a whole new tv. an lcd can last you a lifetime if you take proper care and change the bulb.

    plasma tv now last just like lcds, something like 100.000 hours. They are even cheaper than lcd and they are much better. Lcd is good for computer screens and small things such as portable dvd player, mp3 readers, etc… I paid 1000 euros for my 50″ inch plasma, and it’s just amazing, far superior than lcd… Led is too young as a technology. Oled is better then lcd and plasma but it’s still too son for it.

    Youguys must realize, the behemoth you see in this video is the future, im sure in the future, this will be standard, instead of wanting one of these, there will be wallsize tv’s, this will be a pretty big screen but not the biggest you can get.

  21. 117buster

    you can buy it just start saving!!! 1 dollar at a time if you haft to!!!

  22. Qball914

    yeah…your a salesman. all you do is pretend to know what your talking about. i dont care if a plasma has a better picture. it lasts for 2 years and then you have to buy a brand new one. i own a 50″ 3 lcd sony tv and there hasn’t been a single problem with this thing even after 4 years. the bulb burned out a few months ago but thats 80 bucks to repair a perfect tv compared to 4000 for a new plasma… so tell me saleman…what do you have to say to that?
